My day started finishing these vegan cupcakes (vanilla with chocolate filling and strawberry frosting):
And one of the sweetest people that I know, my friend Gabriel, sent this to me and made me smile:
I wish a great week for everybody!

Sweet summer
I'm having a busy week and I'm loving it! I know I still have to write some posts about Brazil here, but be patient.
Yesterday I spent all day in the kitchen baking and cooking (Betrayed guys had a vegan cheesy strogonoff to eat before the show) but it was worth it!
If you live in Dublin, I need your help: I need to have my vegan cupcakes being sold in more places (coffee bar, restaurant, etc) so if you know about any place that can be open to that, just let me know, please! You can write to dublin.sweet@gmail.com. Thanks a lot ;-)

"That's how you become a cro-mag!"
I saw two amazing videos at the blog After The Storm about the new John Joseph's new book "Meat Is For Pussies" and I need to share them with you. For those who don't know hardcore is really important to me and I love Cro-Mags.
It's really cool to see a man with 47 years old that is still on hardcore and that is still vegetarian. If these two things are important to you too, listen to what he has to say:
PS. Franz, my friend, this post is also for you ;-)

Back on track!
After twenty days off in Brazil, I'm back! I had some amazing days with my family and best friends. I will write about some vegan food and places next week, I swear!
Back at home two days ago, we didn't have a lot to eat, so we decided to finish with some leftovers first before buying more food. So the lunch yesterday was strogonoff! I used the usual recipe, but with a special touch: I added small vegan cheese cubes after everything and let it cook for 2 minutes (before it starts to melt). This tip came from a Brazilian girl that I met on my flight from Belo Horizonte to São Paulo (yes, Brazilian people talk to everybody around them). Her name is Carolina and we spent 1 hour talking about food! She gave me a special recipe of a "white cheesy strogonoff" that I still have to try and post here.
So, if you have some vegan cheese around, try to add it at this strogonoff recipe and if you don't you can add some tofu!
PS. The book about coffee in the back of the picture was a gift from one of my best Brazilian girlfriends, Cinthia! She loves coffee as much as I do! ;-)

"Brasil, meu Brasil brasileiro"
Since the end of May I'm in Brazil. I'm spending some great days in my hometown, Belo Horizonte, with my family and friends! I'm going to a lot of awesome places and I hope I can update here soon with news and pics ;-)
For now, just one thing: it's so good that I can eat beans again! Love them and love the Brazilian snack "pastel" (need to get a recipe to post here!)
I'll be back!
